Planning for climate change is a priority for LA County Planning. In response to the changing climate and urgency for action, we have many projects and policies that address climate adaptation and resiliency. Our work serves communities through broad climate adaptation policies in the General Plan to focused ordinances on natural resource protection to preserve the County’s unique biodiversity. Our commitment to the stewardship of the environment will also benefit the communities of LA County.
