EPIC-LA

The County’s Electronic Permitting and Inspections portal, or EPIC-LA, is your site to submit applications, check on case status, and run reports. If you need technical help, please contact epiclahelp@lacounty.gov.

Register

You will need to register to submit applications, pay fees, and receive plans filed reports.

Apply

After registering and logging into EPIC-LA, you can submit a Base Application. This provides basic information to understand your project and convert your request to the appropriate case type. For example, your project may need a Site Plan Review or a Conditional Use Permit. Your Base Application RPAP number will be different than your RPPL plan number once accepted.

Search

You can look up cases using the project number (e.g., PRJ2023-001234), plan number (e.g., RPPL2023001234), or location (e.g. partial address or Assessor’s Parcel Number). You can check status, contact the case planner, or check for payments due. You can also access related public documents.

Generate Reports

You can find out what cases were filed in your community or generate reports based on filed date and specific case types, such as Oak Tree Permits. More reports will be available soon!

Note: Monthly Cases Filed reports are also available online.
