There are a few ways to pay a fee.
If you filed online, you will receive an email with your invoice number and EPIC-LA link to pay online after we convert your Base Application to the correct permit(s). Read the search case instructions and pay online instructions for more information. If you need more technical help, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
To pay in person, you can visit our field office locations during counter hours. Subdivision fees are only accepted online.
To pay by mail, please make your check payable to “County of Los Angeles” and include the invoice number and RPPL case number. Send to:
LA County Planning
320 W. Temple Street
Los Angeles, CA 90012
Some permits and applications have a draw-down account. With your first deposit, you will follow the same steps as paying an application fee. You will also need the Financial Responsibility form. Supplemental deposits follow the same payment steps as applications.
If there is a change in ownership or financial responsibility, you will need to submit a Change of Financial Responsibility form.
If you send these forms by mail, by email, or by someone who is not the responsible party, the forms have to be notarized.
If you received a Second Notice of Noncompliance Fee letter, it is important to work with the Investigating Planner listed in the letter to make sure the fee is paid on time and avoid additional penalty fees. Visit Zoning Enforcement How to Pay a Noncompliance Fee for more information.
