Hillside MAnagement areas ordinance

The purpose of the Hillside Management Areas (HMA) Ordinance is to regulate development in hillside areas to preserve scenic character, protect natural features, maintain opens space, and minimize risks associated with natural hazards.

HMA Ordinance Update

The HMA Ordinance is being updated to improve implementation through organizational improvements, clarification revisions, and the conversion of existing hillside design guidelines into development standards that strengthen the protection of hillside resources.
