LA County Planning is excited to be applying for the Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) Grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

This competitive funding opportunity aims to promote housing forward policies to increase the availability of affordable housing. Grant funds support efforts to remove barriers such as land use controls and ordinances that hinder the production and preservation of affordable housing units. The PRO Housing grant’s objectives align with those LA County Planning is already committed to and working toward. If successful, the grant will be used for activities related to Infrastructure Planning, Transit Oriented Districts, and Equity/Fair Housing. The work funded by the grant can assist in implementing the General Plan and assist in accelerating the production and preservation of all types of housing in the unincorporated communities of LA County.
