Comments on the area plan, ordinance, and land use and zoning maps are being received until the date of the public hearing. To ensure that your written comments are provided to the Regional Planning Commission as a part of the hearing package, please email them to the MAP project team at metroareaplan@planning.lacounty.gov. Written public comments submitted prior to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, 9/12/23 will be provided to the Regional Planning Commission. Written public comments submitted after 12 p.m. on Tuesday, 9/12/23 will not be provided to the Regional Planning Commission but will be added to the public record.

Two new Project Fact Sheets are now available by clicking here or on the Documents tab. These fact sheets provide the highlights of what the MAP Ordinance is proposing and explain changes to the land use policy and zoning maps for the project.

Please click here to see our new web mapping application for properties within the Metro Area Plan boundaries. Using this app, you can see the proposed zoning and land use policy in your community!  You can use the search tool to enter in an address, or simply pan around your neighborhood.  Also on the app are areas highlighted where the zoning or land use policy is proposed to be changed.  If you have any questions about the app itself, please email the DRP GIS Section:  gis@planning.lacounty.gov.
