On Saturday, November 16, the East San Gabriel Valley Area Plan team hosted a community visioning workshop at Carolyn Rosas Park in Rowland Heights. The event attracted over 40 participants who had an opportunity to provide feedback on challenges and opportunities in their communities.
The event included two activities to solicit feedback from residents. The first activity was based on the Place It methodology, developed by urban planner James Rojas, and focused on having residents identify their values. The second activity provided an opportunity for attendees to share input on issues and challenges in their communities.
