The Marina del Rey Land Use Plan (LUP) is a component of the Marina del Rey Local Coastal Program, which was adopted in 1996, and amended in 2012. The Land Use Plan guides development in the 804-acre County-owned marina. The LUP was developed to address future land use, new access, recreation and resource protection areas, and improvement of existing facilities. The implementation program for the LUP is the Marina del Rey Specific Plan, which is contained in County Code Title 22 (Planning and Zoning Code).
