The County’s Historic Preservation Program (“Program”) is comprised of its:
- Historic Preservation Ordinance (HPO) which was adopted September 1, 2015, and established criteria and procedures for the nomination, designation and review of work on landmarks and property located within historic districts.
- Mills Act Historical Property Contract Program which was adopted on November 26, 2013, and provides property tax relief to owners of qualified historical properties who are willing to restore and maintain their properties.
