Mobilehome Park Survey

Below is information from the County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs. More information can be found on their mobilehome parks website at www.lacounty.gov/mobilehomeparks.

On August 14, 2018, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors introduced an interim ordinance to regulate rents in mobilehome parks within the unincorporated County. A Mobilehome Rent Regulation Ordinance is now proposed to replace the interim ordinance.

The proposed ordinance would include:

  • An annual cap on space rent increases,
  • Protections for residents against impacts to services and maintenance with reduced space rents,
  • A requirement for park owners to complete an annual report on occupancy, rental rates, services, and amenities provided by the park,
  • and more!

The County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs is looking for your thoughts and suggestions on the proposed Mobilehome Rent Regulation Ordinance.

For more information, including mobilehome park survey (also available in Korean, Chinese and Spanish), Frequently Asked Questions, and mobilehome park resources, please visit www.lacounty.gov/mobilehomeparks.
