Launched in September 2021 by LA County Planning, the Chapman Woods Community Standards District (CSD) Update is a community-based planning effort to revise existing development standards and guide new construction to be compatible with the existing architectural context of the Chapman Woods neighborhood. The ordinance establishing the Chapman Woods Community Standards District was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on November 21, 2023, and is effective December 21, 2023.
