Safety Element Update adopted on 7/12/22

The Board of Supervisors adopted the Safety Element Update on July 12, 2022; it also became effective on the same day. The comprehensive update includes new goals, policies, and implementation programs that account for climate change impacts to reduce the potential risk of death, injuries, property damage economic loss, and social dislocation resulting from natural and human-made hazards.
