Inclusionary Housing Report

Inclusionary housing, also known as inclusionary zoning or mixed-income housing, is a policy tool that requires or encourages private housing developers to include a certain percentage of income-restricted units within market rate residential developments.

The Los Angeles County Housing Element, which was adopted by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in 2008, includes an implementation program to consider the feasibility of an inclusionary housing policy in the unincorporated areas. The Department submitted the report to the Board of Supervisors on July 2, 2012. Click here to view the inclusionary housing report.
