The Puente Hills are a resource rich area within the East San Gabriel Valley planning area. They provide a scenic backdrop for the region, as well as a place to connect with nature. The planning effort underway will work in collaboration with local partnerships to put in place long-term planning goals supporting preservation of sensitive resources, such as the Puente Hills.
Did you know that a wildlife underpass was built at Harbor Blvd., the first in Los Angeles County, to help wildlife safely travel across the hills connecting 4600 acres of preserved land on the west side of Harbor Blvd to 14,000 acres on the east side?
