- The Santa Clarita Valley Area Plan Update was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on November 27, 2012. The Plan Amendment and related zone changes took effect on December 27, 2012.

One Valley One Vision Poster Plan
The One Valley One Vision Poster Plan (PDF) illustrates the progress the County of Los Angeles and City of Santa Clarita have made on updating the Valleywide General Plan. It was presented at community meetings hosted throughout the Santa Clarita Valley during May 2007. The poster highlights previous phases leading up to the creation of a draft land use map in Phase IV. The concept land use map is a work in progress which envelops the Guiding Principles developed by Santa Clarita Valley residents.
