Los Angeles County was one of just ten communities specially selected out of hundreds of cities and counties all over the U.S. to host a Spotlight Conversation on Climate Action. The Goals Of Our Event Include:
- Make constituents aware of all the green initiatives the various County departments offer
- To explain AB 32 – the Global Warming Act of 2006 – and the Scoping Plan to the public and involve them in roundtable discussions to comment on the Plan
- Involve all 88 cities within the County in the event to present a totally green County
