Interactive GIS Web Mapping Apps

The following web applications allow for interactively viewing and investigating zoning, land use policy, subdivision activity, aerial imagery, and many other features pertaining to land use within the unincorporated communities of Los Angeles County. These applications also allow the user to pan and zoom, search and interact with the maps. These applications all require the Adobe Flash player.

The potential exists for large amounts of data to be transmitted during use of these sites. Please note that loading time will vary depending on your connection speed and the amount of data being requested.

  • GIS-NET3

    GIS-NET3 was developed to provide the Public with spatial tools and planning and zoning information in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. It was developed by the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning's (DRP) GIS Section. This application replaces a previous application that was in service from May of 2006 through November 2012.

  • FF-NET

    FF-NET provides PROPOSED zoning and land use policy information (and several other overlay layers) in a new and very simple user interface for the unincorporated community of Florence-Firestone. Use this tool to SEE the proposed zoning and land use designations related to the Florence-Firestone Community Plan Program. It was developed by the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning's GIS Section in conjunction with the Community Studies - East Area Section.

  • GP-NET

    GP-NET provides PROPOSED land use policy information (and several other overlay layers) in a new and very simple user interface. One of the key features of this application is to determine whether a subject property is within an unincorporated area or within one of the County's 88 cities. It was developed by the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning's GIS Section in conjunction with the General Plan Development Section.

  • Z-NET   

    Z-NET provides geographic information regarding zoning, land use and several other overlay layers in a new and very simple user interface. One of the key features of this application is to determine whether a subject property is within an unincorporated area or within one of the County's 88 cities.
    Z-NET has just been upgraded to go directly to the Assessor’s Detailed Property Information Sheet for the selected parcel - when the APN number is clicked. Not only does this page display a selection of parcel data but it contains links to other pages, including the AMB page and Parcel Change Activity, as well.

  • SUB-NET - ***DOWN INDEFINITELY - FUNCTIONALITY NOW INCLUDED IN GIS-NET3

    SUB-NET provides geographic information regarding subdivision activity in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. It was developed to show comprehensive information regarding active tract and parcel map submissions.

    The functionality of SUB-NET, the ability to view scanned tract and parcel maps within the map window was integrated into GIS-NET3 (application link above) on Monday, April 8, 2013.

  • OVOV-NET - ***DOWN INDEFINITELY***

    OVOV-NET was developed to provide the public with geographic information regarding the update of the Santa Clarita Valley Area Plan, covering the unincorporated areas of the Santa Clarita Valley in Los Angeles County. It was developed by the GIS and Countywide Studies sections.

    The Santa Clarita Valley Area Plan Update was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on November 27, 2012. The Plan Amendment and related zone changes will take effect on December 27, 2012. After that, the adopted information will be rolled into Z-NET, GP-NET and GIS-NET3 (applications above).
