Malibu Fire Information

In November 2007, dozens of structures in the unincorporated areas of Malibu were damaged or destroyed by the Malibu Corral Fire. The Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning is committed to assist property owners through the permit process to repair and rebuild their homes. The Frequently Asked Questions -FAQs (PDF) provide answers to commonly asked questions regarding the rebuild/repair process. The GIS map (PDF) identifies properties that were affected by the fire, the extent of damage and whether there are any Regional Planning applications on file for the properties. Please contact the Department of Regional Planning if you need any additional assistance. Questions may be directed to either the downtown office or the Calabasas field office.
